The Foreign Ministry confirms its commitment to Italian exports

“The Foreign Ministry confirms its commitment to the internationalization of Italy’s business sector by obtaining from the European Commission the authorization to use 1.12 billion euros in non-refundable funds to support Italian businesses and exports.

The Government has decided to make these substantial resources available to Italian businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, which have been worst hit by the pandemic.

The resources will make it possible to respond to requests for subsidized loans from the 394/81 Revolving Fund, which we have placed at the core of the Pact for Export, having strengthened it enormously and enhanced its effectiveness.

The Foreign Ministry renews its strong commitment to ensure that the Fund itself is refinanced during 2021, to help reactivate the procedures for accepting new applications and exporting more and more Made in Italy brand products worldwide.”
