The closing event of the Italian cultural and culinary week will be a gala dinner at Sheraton Hotel Kampala on Friday Nov. 24 with the screening of “La Prima Luce” (The First Light”), a film from Vincenzo Marra presented at the Venice International Film Festival in 2015.
Mr. Marra will attend the screening and be happy to meet with the participants.
All those interested can book places/tables directly with Sheraton hotel ( see Sheraton flyer).
All along the Cultural Week the Embassy supports a fundraising campaign by CoRSU hospital in favor of Ugandan children with disabilities. In particular 10% of the proceeds of Friday’s dinner will be automatically devolved by Sheraton to the project. Of course further voluntary donations are welcome (see CoRSU flyer).
