Inauguration of a worskshop on the production of high quality shirts in Kampala

The Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Rebecca A. Kadaga, and Ambassador Domenico Fornara have inaugurated on May 15 a workshop on the production of high quality shirts at Centenary Vocational Training School di Nsambia.
The workshop is organized thanks to AVSI, Impronte di Donna Onlus and the roman fashion firm La Bottega dell’Artigianato. The initiative follows a fashion show hosted at the Italian Residence on March 10 (“Seeds and Threads”, with designers from Canada, DRC, India, Madagascar, Nigeria and Uganda), thanks to which funds were raised to finance todays whorkshop.
