Declaration of Economic Condition Required for ISEE

To obtain the Declaration of Economic Condition required for the ISEE, please complete the following steps:

Please note: In order to avoid inconveniences, submit your application at least six weeks before your deadline.

 

Step 1: Obtain the Declaration
Request an official letter certifying your family’s annual economic condition (expressed in euros). The letter must be issued by either:

  • Your local LC1 Chairperson, or a qualified lawyer.

 Step 2: Legalization
Have the Declaration legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of Uganda.

 Step 3: Translation
Arrange for the Declaration to be translated into Italian by an authorized translator.

 

 Required Documents

Please prepare the following documents:

  1. A photocopy of your valid passport.
  2. The original Declaration of Economic Condition issued by your local LC1 Chairperson or a qualified lawyer, stating your family’s annual economic condition in euros.
  3. The Declaration legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
  4. A certified Italian translation of the Declaration.

Appointment Procedure

Before requesting an appointment, send PDF copies of all the required documents by email to: consolare.kampala@esteri.it

The Consular Office will review your application and supporting documents. If everything is in order, you will be contacted with an appointment date to present the original documents and obtain the Declaration of Economic Condition Required for ISEE if applicable. You will also be informed of any consular fees that apply.
