UNIDROIT International Programme for Law and Development courses

The International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) has published on its website a call for participation in the International Programme for Law and Development (IPLD) 2025 “Africa Plus”.

This programme, now in its fourth edition and open for the first time to thirty participants, as opposed to twenty in past editions, aims to provide magistrates, jurists and legal practitioners from African countries with training in private law instruments already consolidated in the practice of the international community, in particular relating to international trade and sustainable development.

The registration deadline is 28 February 2025 and the course will be held online in the first half of June and in person in the second half of the same month and early July. Limited scholarships are available for some participants, based on a case-by-case assessment of applications. All selected participants are exempt from any enrollment fees.
