The Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Uganda was on 30th May 2017 recognized with The 2017 Uganda Transformation Award in appreciation of its contribution towards Social-Economic Transformation of Uganda through its commitment to support attainment of Uganda Vision 2040 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in Uganda.
The award was presented to Ambassador Domenico Fornara by Luzindana Adam Buyinza, Team Leader of Public Opinions International, an organization involved in Information Dissemination, Public Awareness, recognizing individuals and agencies making contributions towards sustainable development and human rights promotion in Africa.
