{"id":3823,"date":"2026-06-01T15:31:23","date_gmt":"2026-06-01T12:31:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambkampala.esteri.it\/?p=3823"},"modified":"2026-06-01T15:33:27","modified_gmt":"2026-06-01T12:33:27","slug":"mandatory-tracking-for-travellers-to-and-from-uganda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambkampala.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2026\/06\/mandatory-tracking-for-travellers-to-and-from-uganda\/","title":{"rendered":"Mandatory tracking for travellers to and from Uganda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">In connection with the Ebola virus disease outbreak in Uganda and the DRC declared by the World Health Organization on 16 May 2026, <strong>all those intending to travel from Uganda abroad or vice versa<\/strong> are hereby informed that the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority has made <strong>traveller tracking mandatory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">Upon arrival and departure at Entebbe International Airport, <strong>every traveller is required to provide proof of registration of their movements<\/strong>, no later than 6 hours before travel. To speed up procedures and avoid crowding, travellers are advised to <strong>register their journey<\/strong> on the website <a class=\"underline underline underline-offset-2 decoration-1 decoration-current\/40 hover:decoration-current focus:decoration-current\" href=\"https:\/\/poes.health.go.ug\/declare\">https:\/\/poes.health.go.ug\/declare<\/a>.
