A new milestone for sustainable and inclusive cities in Uganda!
\nOn 21 November, the Government of Uganda and the Government of Italy signed a Letter of Intent under the Green Cities Initiative in Action for Africa. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Hon. Robinah Nabbanja and the FAO Country Representative.<\/p>\n

This step strengthens our partnership on key priorities such as:<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf31 climate resilience<\/li>\n
\ud83c\udfd9\ufe0f inclusive urban development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Ugandan authorities expressed strong appreciation for Italy\u2019s support and for the constructive, coherent approach guiding the initiative. The priorities identified\u2014including solid waste management and improved urban food markets\u2014will help build cleaner, greener and more resilient cities.<\/p>\n
