The University of Rome \u201cForo Italico\u201d is one of the most <strong>prestigious institutions<\/strong> for <strong>scientific research and academic training<\/strong> in the fields of <strong>motor and sports sciences<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The program offers <strong>scholarships for young student-athletes from Uganda<\/strong>, allowing them to enroll in either the <strong>Master\u2019s degree in Sports Science and Techniques<\/strong> or <strong>Sports Management<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For the <strong>2025-2026 academic year<\/strong>, the <strong>Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI)<\/strong>will provide <strong>up to 20 scholarships<\/strong>. Each scholarship will last <strong>9 months<\/strong>, starting from <strong>October 1, 2025<\/strong>, with an annual grant of <strong>\u20ac9,000 per recipient.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To apply, candidates must demonstrate <strong>at least a B2 level proficiency in the Italian language<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Each scholarship recipient may apply for <strong>renewal<\/strong> for the <strong>second year of studies<\/strong> through a dedicated call that will be published during the <strong>2025-2026 academic year<\/strong>, provided they have earned <strong>at least 36 university credits<\/strong> by <strong>July 27, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Applications for the <strong>first edition<\/strong> of the program are <strong>open from June 3, 2025, until June 20, 2025, at 12:00 PM (Rome time)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Submission Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>application procedures<\/strong> are outlined in <strong>Article 5 of the official <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/2025_05_23_Bando-borse-SPORT_ultimo.pdf\">call for applications<\/a><\/strong>.
