On the occasion of the XVII week of the Italian language in the world (16 \u2013 22 October 2017), which will be dedicated this year to \u201cItalian at the cinema, Italian in the cinema\u201d, Dante Alighieri Society and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation are promoting the contest \u201cBehind the mirror \u2013 Italy seen from outside Italy\u201d.<\/p>\n
The contest will offer an opportunity to students of all nationalities, aged between 18 and 26, to promote a short-film dedicated to various aspects (art, fashion, tourism, cooking, language, history, etc.) that will help to depict the image of Italy in the world. Participation will be free of charges.<\/p>\n
The short-films (max 5 minutes) should be emailed before September 15, 2017 to concorsovideo@ladante.it<\/a>. The email\u2019s subject should be: \u201cCon Concorso COME DENTRO UNO SPECCHIO – L’Italia fuori dall’Italia”. Its text must include: name, date of birth, telephone number of the film\u2019s director, film link to YouTube or Vimeo page. The heading of the film titles should include the contest\u2019s playbill<\/a>. All films in foreign languages should be subtitled in Italian.<\/p>\n The production will be examined by a jury which will be composed of by the Dante Society, the Italian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and of Culture, the Embassy of Switzerland in Rome and Radio Rai3 (radio show \u201cHollywood Party\u201d). The best three will be offered respectively: an all inclusive trip to Rome to visit the Cinecitta\u2019 studios, a course of Italian in one of the four Dante Alighieri\u2019s schools in Italy, a collection of thematic publications.<\/p>\n
