The Embassy of Italy in Kampala informs all Italian citizens residing in Uganda, Burundi, and Rwanda that INPS has launched the proof of life verification campaign for pensioners who receive their pension abroad.
The verification will take place from September 17, 2025, to January 15, 2026. Citibank N.A. will send pensioners a form to be completed and returned within the specified timeframe.
In case of difficulties (health problems, hospitalization, detention, etc.), it is necessary to contact the Citibank N.A. support service to obtain an alternative certification form.
A video call verification service with the Consular Office is also available as a supplementary but not substitutive option.
