Ahead of the Inauguration of the new Honorary Consulate of Italy in Bujumbura

Ahead of the Inauguration of the new Honorary Consulate of Italy in Bujumbura later this week, Ambassador Mazzanti, yesterday morning met with H. E. Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of the Republic of Burundi. Topics discussed included strengthening of bilateral relations and economic cooperation between the two Countries.
Ambassador Mazzanti was later received by H. E. Angeline Ndayishimiye Ndayubaha, First Lady of the Republic of Burundi, who appreciated the efforts and contributions of the Italian Cooperation especially in strengthen the Health sector of the Country
