VISA OF ITALY

VISA APPLICATION FORMS AND DOCUMENTS TO BE PRESENTED
The visa application and all the supporting documents shall be submitted in hard copy at the time of the appointment. Documents submitted by email or fax will not be filed.
Make sure to be able to submit all necessary documents on the day of your appointment.
In special cases the Embassy avails itself the right to require further documents.

 

HOW DO I APPLY FOR MY VISA?
The Embassy of Italy accepts visa application by persons legally resident in Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi.
If you are a resident in Rwanda and Burundi you shall also book your visa appointment at the Embassy of Belgium in Rwanda and Embassy of Belgium in Burundi

 

IMPORTANT NOTICES

Due to an increase in the number of applications received, applicants for any kind of visa to Italy are advised to book their appointments well in advance of their travel. Visa appointments should be handed in not earlier than six months ahead of your desired travel date and not later than fifteen days to the travel date. Appointment requests by telephone and email will not be answered.

 

SUBMITTANCE OF VISA REQUESTS ONLY BY BOOKING ON-LINE THROUGH THE LINK BOOK YOUR VISIT 

Attention: Once pre-booked the appointment, the applicants shall confirm the appointment starting from the 10th day up to the 3rd day prior to the proposed date. If the applicants fails to confirm the appointment, the system automatically deletes the proposed appointment from the Embassy schedule.

The Embassy of Italy in Kampala, receives also the applications for Malta and Republic of Slovakia.
Please find here the consular fees for the visa application to be paid only in USD at the Visa section (no credit cards or other currencies are accepted):
– Schengen visa (tourism, business, invitation) – 88 USD
– National visa
o Study visa – 55 USD
o Long term visa – 127 USD

Please note that the consular fees are revised at the beginning of each quarter ie 1st jannuary, 1st april, 1st july, 1st October
